On December 6th, 2017, my classmates from an entrepreneurship course and I created and hosted a food conference called YUM-preneurship. This encompassed over 60 local food vendors and restaurants there who gave out free samples of foods, which guests had to vote who was their favorite. At the end of the night, the top 3 vendors were honored with an award. We were able to obtain over 600 guests in attendance at the event, which was record breaking compared to the previous food events held at the Universities at Shady Grove campus.

For this event, I worked with a team whose main focus was on digital/social media marketing and special events. I was in-charge of many tasks, such as creating the t-shirt design to use as prizes to giveaway to guests and designing flyers, certificates, awards, and logos. My team and I created three vendor games that highlighted their foods. This involved guests participating in these games to win prizes.
